The Board of Education ratified the SUB Collective Bargaining Agreement Nov. 19 during its regular meeting. The contract, which was approved Oct. 21 by SUB members, is retroactive to July 1, 2025. and remains in effect through June 30, 2028.
Highlights include a 4% pay hike each of the three years of the contract, pay for snow days if already scheduled to work, a shortened wait period for substitutes on unpaid administrative leave during investigations, and a shortened pay scale which allows subs to reach the top pay level in a shorter period of time.
The new pay rate should be reflected in the next paycheck. Substitutes will be notified when the new contract is ready for distribution.
