If you have a Bachelor’s degree or know anyone that has a degree and would like to become a certified teacher, the BPS has recently been awarded a Teacher Residency grant from the Department of Labor. It is accepting applicants that would like to gain certification in special need areas only; Special Education, ESOL, Math, World Languages and Science.
Participants enroll in a graduate education program, work a full year as paid BPS employees while in training, and receive an additional $15,000 tuition stipend!
