Hello to all my brother and sister substitute teachers. I would like to start off by thanking you for the fine job that you do as substitutes. I know we don’t always feel needed or respected.
I believe with this new Executive Council we will strive to make significant changes along those lines. Our main function is to make positive changes for the students we serve.
I would like to wish you all a very happy and healthy holiday season.
For those of you approaching your 50-day bonus, the time is quickly approaching. There are approximately 21 days left to qualify. If you miss it by a half or one day, you lose.
Our contract will be coming up next year, and we will be looking for major improvements in our benefits and in our professional development opportunities. We all want more and we all need more.
Lastly, I would like to remind you that we have put together a celebration on January 9, 2025. We would love to see all of you there to have a good time.
