There will be a General Membership Meeting of the Substitutes United of Buffalo on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 5 p.m. at the Frank Merriweather Library, 1324 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo.
At this meeting one item of business will be an amendment proposed by the Fiscal Control Committee to amend our Constitution to correct some dates for financial deadlines in the Constitution. The proposed amendment is below for your review. We will be voting on this proposed amendment to the Constitution at this meeting.

Article IV Duties of Committees
Section 4. The Fiscal Control Committee shall select an Auditor and /or a financial review committee to review the Treasurer’s books and report his/her findings to the Executive Council no later than June 30th of each year. The Fiscal Committee shall submit an annual budget to the Executive Council no later June 30th of each year to be approved by the Executive Council. The Fiscal Control committee shall submit quarterly assessments of the financial status of the organization. The Union’s Financial Fiscal Year shall be from July 1st to June 30th of each year.
